  Good hospital and good staff. Loses a star cos of the nasty pay parking arrangements. Wilson are mongrels. Ok for fit young people but not so for sick elderly pregnant etc. I thought a hospitals role is to make lives better not worse.

  Attended the hospital for day surgery, had issues about there infection control procedures and and despite informing them about a allergy to tape, tape was applied to my arm which resulted in an allergic reaction. I Wrote to the hospital on their feedback form detailing my issues and requested feedback. This has not yet happened and my surgery was 6 months ago. Just been to Canberra private for surgery and found everything to be brilliant.

  Calvary John James is a private hospital and so you pay for parking - it is also in a reasonably intensely officed part of town, so the charging tends to keep the car parks available for visitors rather than workers from the surrounding businesses. On the upside you get excellent care, lovely staff, a maximum of one other person sharing your room, carpeted wards, superior food - but it is not a Public Hospital (ie 100% covered by Medicare) so check your Health Insurance before selecting it.

  All staff were extraordinary especially the kitchen staff the were on time and every thing
