  From the very first appointment right through to my last follow up, the staff have been so friendly, professional and helpful. All my questions were answered and I was always made to feel comfortable. It has honestly been the very best thing I have ever done in my life and I love how I am seeing so clearly, the best I ever have. Life without glasses is wonderful. My only regret is I left it so long in life before I had it done. Will always recommend PersonalEyes to everyone I know.

  Getting laser surgery on my eyes was one of the best things I've done. It has changed my life. I would not hesitate recommending this to anyone who is considering it. PersonalEyes were wonderful every step of the way, taking the time to discuss all my concerns and explain the procedure in great detail. They were courteous, friendly, and professional at all times. I highly recommend all the staff at PersonalEyes Canberra and will happily return if I have other problems with my eyes in the future.

  If you are taking children to see Dr Joanne Dondey pack a picnic. We waited 1.5 hours and still had three people ahead of us. We had to leave without seeing her as my 16 month old needed lunch. Very disappointed. They should warn people when making an appointment that it could take hours in the waiting room before seeing the doctor.

  I would recommend PersonalEyes to anyone considering refractive surgery, it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.

  I've been short sighted since I was 5 years old and needed to wear glasses/contacts for everything. I looked into refractive surgery as my prescription stabilised in my mid 20s, to around -4.00 in both eyes.

  My surgery experience was extremely positive. The staff, and especially Dr. Meades, put my mind at ease, talked me through the procedure and were happy to answer all my questions. The procedure itself was over in minutes, and I could see perfectly straight away. My recovery went smoothly and without issues, and my vision has been 20/20 for the (nearly) 12 months since.

  PersonalEyes offered a range of packages which ranged in cost depending on the different inclusions. I found that these options were very competitive compared to other clinics in Canberra, and even compared to Sydney once you factor in accommodation and travel to appointments.
